So Now in a perfect world, your trigger would would START your prop and the prop would run as long as you need it to and then end. But it's not a perfect world yet so we must add a timer to the event so that your prop action will last the length of time you really want it to run instead of Just when the trigger is activated.
Most prop actions need more time to 'do their thing'. We need to look at the Trigger - like a component to the solution. One part of the total prop. Other parts would be a TIMER and the Mechanical motion or Sound.
